Has your utility room become a neglected, dumping ground full of dirty laundry?  It really doesn’t have to be like that!  The return in popularity of home make-over shows, think Angela Scanlon ‘Your House Made Perfect’, Kirstie Allsop ‘Love It or List It’ or Stacey Solomon ‘Sort Your Life Out’ all have maximising space as a common theme.

Boot Rooms & Laundry Rooms

When space is at a premium, stacking the washing machine and tumble dryer provides a quick win.  Hiding them behind a door will keep things looking tidy & keep the noise down.  Running the quartz or granite worktop through tall cupboards as a visible edge, is a detail that keeps the room looking stylish as well as practical.  Small details can make all the difference.

Calling all dog owners…leaving a cubby-hole in the base cabinets to house a dog bed is a novel idea.   Cladding the sides with quartz will also ensure Fido’s space is easy to keep clean and stays odour free.

Including a deep Belfast or extra-large sink will complete the laundry facilities for a busy household – and might even double up as a space to wash the dog!

Walk-in Pantries

Traditional shaker-style kitchens are often used to good effect in combination with internal Crittall glass doors.  They will form a walk-in pantry worthy of any Grand Design home.  Zoning areas of the kitchen is great and allows for some inspirational display ideas.  Matching or even contrasting worktops and shelving in quartz, granite or marble is practical too, acting to keep food items cool.

If decorative brackets are used to support & fix the shelving, we can pre-drill holes in the quartz.
