Sparkle Season

It’s December. And that means 2 things here at The Granite House.

Firstly, we are now into our busiest month of the year. Santa’s workshop has got nothing on ours! The Granite House elves are super busy, making sure that all our customers get their kitchen and bathroom worktops in time for the big day.

And secondly, it is Christmas Jumper Day every Friday here.

The season of all things sparkly, shiny, and glittery has arrived. So, lets turn the spotlight on the quartz and granites that add that extra brilliance to your room.

 Twinkle, twinkle little star

A dusting of glitter through white quartz colours like CRL Artic Shimmer, Cimstone Sierra or B-Stone Brilliant Ice gives a stylish yet subtle effect.  For the same look in grey there’s CRL Silver Shimmer or Silestone Alumino Nube to choose from.

Introducing pattern or more colour to the shimmer effect opens the choice to include Nile Quartz Carrara Shimmer and Technistone Brilliant Arabescato.

 Star light, star bright

If you like a bit more sparkle, then Silestone Stellar Blanco and Silestone Stellar Night are two of our most popular options. CRL Quartz Reflections, Quartz Forms Twinkle White and Technistone Starlight Black are also fabulous.

All these colours will reflect the lights in the room and make the space feel larger and brighter.

Diamonds & Pearls

Granite has naturally occurring reflective qualities. Star Galaxy, Blue Pearl and Emerald Pearl are beautiful when light bounces off them. For a more striking look, Labrador Antique, Lemurrian Blue and Volga Blue have stunning lapis blue flecks running through them.

As the party season unfolds, make sure you leave time to book a visit to The Granite House…. and remember “You’ll always find me in the kitchen at parties!”
